Join us for our 2026 Petite Mid Year Concert featuring our Ready Set Dance and Mini students

After two terms of learning, growing, and building confidence, our youngest LAUNCH stars are ready to take the stage and share their progress with you.

This joyful performance is a celebration of their hard work, development, and love of dance. We’re so proud of them and can’t wait for you to be part of this memorable moment.

THE LAUNCH CONCERT EXPERIENCE

Participating in our Mid Year Concert is a fun and confidence-building part of the LAUNCH training journey. This relaxed performance opportunity allows our Petite dancers to take the stage in their LAUNCH uniforms and proudly share what they have been learning throughout Terms 1 and 2.

Presented in genre sections, the concert gives families a beautiful glimpse into their child’s growth and the different styles explored in class. It’s a wonderful chance for students to build confidence, celebrate their progress, and enjoy performing in a supportive environment.

Most importantly, it’s a joyful opportunity for our dancers to share their love of dance and celebrate how far they’ve come in the first half of the year.

HAIRSTYLING & MAKE-UP

HAIRSTYLING

Provided by/executed the parent/guardian

Stage performances require hair to be neat, secure, and performance-ready. Please use enough hair gel/mousse, hairspray, and bobby pins to ensure hair is slick, secure, and free from flyaways.

Hair ties must match your child’s hair colour.

Front fringes may be left out if styled neatly off the face

Please pack the following for touch-ups and costume changes:

- Hairbrush

- Spare hair ties (matching hair colour)

- Bobby pins

FEMALE PERFORMERS

Hair is to be styled into two tight, slick high pigtails with a clean middle part.

- Pigtails must sit high and straight, aligned with the ears and positioned just behind where a headband would sit

- Gel and hairspray are essential

- For our short-haired superstars, please include as much hair as possible into each pigtail

Ready Set Dance branded hair accessories are encouraged. They look great onstage! Please ensure all accessories are clearly named.

MALE PERFORMERS

Hair must be neat, tidy, and styled off the face.

MAKEUP
Provided by/executed the parent/guardian

Makeup is optional for preschool performers.

We know how exciting stage makeup can feel for our little ones. Under bright stage lighting, facial features can appear washed out, so light makeup can help define their expressions for the audience.

Please do not send makeup in your child’s bag, as students in this age group often like to “touch up” their makeup independently.

LIGHT MAKEUP SUGGESTION

- Mascara

- Blush

- Natural light pink-toned lipstick
(A smudge-proof liquid lipstick such as Maybelline Superstay works well)
