Can You Feel It – the rhythm that drives us, the connection that moves us, the power that unites us through dance. Our 2025 End of Year Concert showcases every dancer’s passion and progress, from Pre-Junior to Senior age groups. Each performance captures the artistry, dedication, and collective energy that we train for.
Feel the rhythm. Feel the energy. Feel the heart of LAUNCH.
Download and print your very helpful concert checklists above. One checklist for each event date!

Participating in a concert is a thrilling, empowering, and confidence-boosting element of the LAUNCH training journey. Throughout this experience, our students delve into the world of theatre, gain valuable insights into the dynamics of rehearsals and teamwork, all while relishing the exhilaration of performing on a stage.
The camaraderie formed during rehearsals nurtures a strong sense of community, with skills and confidence that extend far beyond the stage. The applause at the end of each performance is a testament to each student’s growth, and we take immense joy in providing them the opportunity to shine in a supportive and enjoyable atmosphere.

WEEKLY CLASS ATTENDANCE
Dance is a team sport; the greatest success comes when all members work together. Our dedicated teachers work extremely hard preparing students, making it very important for everyone to attend all lessons and rehearsals. In the event that a student needs to miss a class, we kindly request that you notify us in advance through your parent portal. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
CONCERT REHEARSAL ATTENDANCE
It's important for your child to attend all concert rehearsals. Not only are they a really fun and memorable part of the process, these rehearsals contribute greatly to feeling confident on stage and perform at their best. Your support is crucial for your child's success in dance, and we greatly appreciate it.
If there is any reason why your child will not be able to perform at the concert on the dates and times provided, please let us know so we can make amendments to the class routines involving them and their peers.

Due to the class's nature and/or focus, the below classes do not participate in our end of year concert.
- All technique classes
- All Pre-Junior - Senior ballet classes (syllabus & ballet exam focus)
- Teen Acrobatics and the Friday Extension Acrobatics
- Open Commercial Jazz
Thank you for your understanding

We opt to consolidate our dance concert costs into a single package, which is debited in your Term 4 Week 1. This approach allows us to offer competitive pricing for our cherished families, enabling their children to participate in the end of year concert without undue financial burden. Additionally, we have consistently favoured costume hire over purchase, demonstrating our commitment to cost-effective and environmentally responsible choices. We take pride in these decisions that benefit our community and our planet.
The Concert Pack includes:
- Concert Video Download
- Concert Finale Shirt
- Concert Dress Rehearsal Fee
- Concert Tech Rehearsal Fee
- Performer Insurance

CONCERT TSHIRT
All students receive a concert commemorative t-shirt included as part of their concert fee. You will select the size you wish to receive by filling out the form below by Oct 21st.
>> CLICK HERE TO SELECT CONCERT SHIRT SIZE <<
CONCERT VIDEO DOWNLOAD
You can look forward to receiving a link to download the full concert and/or individual routines via email. This link will be provided once we receive it from our videographer, typically within 4 weeks from the concert day. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
ON STAGE PHOTOS
We're fortunate to have exceptional dance photographers capturing the moments during our End of Year Concerts. Following the event, you'll have the opportunity to purchase concert images directly from them. You'll receive a link shortly after the event for this purpose. Please be aware that they are “live on stage” images and there is no way to guarantee that photos will be taken of each individual child.

All students, from Pre-Junior to Seniors, will join together for the concert finale routine. Student’s wear:
Provided by LAUNCH
- The 2025 LAUNCH concert shirt
Provided by student
- Black, full length leggings (full length black jeans for male students)
- Black, crew length socks (mid calf length)

NAMING BELONGINGS
It’s very important that all of your child’s belongings are clearly labelled. With very close to 600 students at LAUNCH, even with our thorough concert organisation, refined procedures, and dedicated staff, items can occasionally be misplaced. The last thing we want is for shoes or costume pieces to go missing right before a routine - especially if they’re not named.
As outlined in our Terms and Conditions, LAUNCH cannot be held accountable for any lost items. However, our team is always committed to helping locate and return any misplaced belongings. Clear labelling ensures we can do this quickly and effectively.
ITEMS THAT NEED TO BE NAMED:
- Bags
- Uniforms
- Shoes
- Water Bottles
- Stockings/Socks
- Food Containers
- Hair and Make-up supplies
- Any other personal items
JEWELLERY REMOVAL
For safety during our dress rehearsal and concert performance, all jewellery, including earrings, must be removed from performers bodies to avoid hazards, ensure uniformity, and prevent loss. If a piercing cannot be removed, cover it with small bandaids or skin-coloured strapping tape. This aligns with safety standards for team sports, promoting a safe performance environment. Your cooperation is appreciated.
DEVICE COLLECTION
We collect all student’s devices at sign in for the duration of our rehearsals and concert events. Please leave any unnecessary devices at home. First and foremost this is for the privacy and safety of all students during costume changes and secondly to encourage social interaction, presence and bonding in our teams. We also provide colouring in and special visits from movie characters.
Devices are stored safely in the staff room at the venue and returned just prior to sign out. Should you need to contact your child our LAUNCH phone number (07) 55 277 724 is diverted on concert day and our admin email and SMS’s are checked all day. Your children know to come and let us know if they need to speak with you.
Upon emergency, you can seek help from a theatre usher/staff member and they will come and speak to us backstage.

While our preference is always to hold both the technical rehearsal and concert on weekends, venue availability on at The Star Gold Coast is extremely limited and always booked more than five years in advance. As a result, most local dance studios, including ours, are required to schedule these events on weekdays and weeknights.
This means some students will need to take time off school. We make every effort to minimise this impact by ensuring each age group requires only one day off school across the rehearsal and concert period. These dates are always included in our calendar since January and communicated regularly throughout the year.
PURPOSE: This rehearsal is mandatory for all performers to adhere to the venue's policies. It allows students to become acquainted with the venue, practice on the stage, find out where they stand and which wing they enter and exit through and address any potential issues. Additionally, this rehearsal plays a crucial role in fine-tuning the show's technical elements, such as sound and lighting.

Classes will rehearse in the concert’s running order (except the finale).
To mimic the concert experience, students will be wait in their allocated dressing rooms until they are required on stage for their dance/s.
Dressing rooms are equipped with TV’s that show the stage live. This way students can support their peers during the rehearsal and concert.
FOOD AND DRINK
Costumes are easily ruined by food and drink stains. Students are not permitted to leave the backstage area during rehearsal or the concert so please pack enough food and drink.
It is important they have something nutritious to keep their energy up as well as something that won’t stain – this means NO fast food, greasy snacks and chips, etc.
They also need to bring a sufficient amount of water.
Due to our students with nut allergies, we have a STRICT NO NUTS OR NUT PRODUCTS policy.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Children are discouraged from bringing any valuables including phones, iPads etc. as the venue and LAUNCH Performing Arts Centre are not responsible for any items lost, damaged or stolen.
Unreasonable or defiant behaviour will not be tolerated by the LAUNCH Performing Arts Centre staff, venue staff or backstage helpers.
